The first user-side energy storage project in Cixi City, Zhejiang Province landed
Recently, the first user-side energy storage project of State Grid Cixi Power Supply Company-Ningbo Haitong Food Technology Co., Ltd. was officially put into operation.
On the morning of the same day, technicians installed a current transformer on the user transformer bus, installed a 4G smart meter on the energy storage grid-connected cabinet, then set the parameters of the meter, and debugged the standardized energy storage system to confirm that the signals inside the system could be transmitted smoothly. With the parameter configuration of energy storage cloud platform -EMS system completed, the trial operation is normal, and the project is officially put into use.
Since the electricity price reform in Zhejiang Province in December, 2021, the price difference between peak and valley has gradually widened, and enterprises urgently need to cut off peaks and fill valleys and reduce energy consumption costs. The construction of user-side energy storage projects can bring visible benefits to enterprises and actually reduce energy consumption costs. Especially in the case of high-load electricity consumption in summer, energy storage equipment can achieve a certain degree of off-peak electricity consumption, effectively alleviating the power supply pressure during peak hours of the power grid. On November 10th, last year, State Grid Cixi Power Supply Company and Ningbo Haitong Food Technology Co., Ltd. signed an energy management agreement for the user's side-cutting peak and filling valley energy storage project. The project site is located in the northwest corner of the factory, and a set of 240 kW energy storage system is built by using the contract energy management mode. Users can enjoy the benefits brought by peak-valley arbitrage only by providing the site.
"According to the peak-valley electricity price policy, charging is carried out in the evening valley and noon valley, and discharging is carried out in the morning peak and afternoon peak. It is calculated that Haitong Food Company can share 60,000 yuan of income every year." The person in charge of the relevant business of the Comprehensive Energy Division of State Grid Cixi Power Supply Company said that this project is also the first user-side energy storage project in our city.
Since last year, Cixi Power Supply Company of State Grid has actively responded to the requirements of superior companies, actively investigated large industrial users within its jurisdiction, screened enterprises with the conditions to build energy storage power stations, and went into enterprises to publicize the characteristics and advantages of energy storage, reducing costs and increasing efficiency, cutting peaks and filling valleys, stimulating the willingness of enterprises to cooperate and providing assistance for the landing of energy storage projects.
