The first 10MW/20.124MWh high-voltage large-capacity energy storage project in China
On January 17, Jinhua Ronghai New Energy Co., Ltd. successfully connected the 10 MW /20.124 MW user-side energy storage (Jinyuan Cement) project to the grid. This user-side energy storage project is one of the most significant electrochemical energy storage projects on the user side that has been filed in Zhejiang Province and connected to the grid in the power grid company. It also marks the completion of the first large-capacity energy storage project on the user side by the State Grid Jinhua Power Supply Company.
The user-side energy storage project charges the energy storage equipment at night and noon during the off-peak electricity period and releases electricity when the electricity price peaks. At present, the off-peak price difference is 0.7916 yuan. With the policy gradually guiding users to cut peaks and fill valleys, the price difference between peaks and valleys will further widen in the future, and the investment income of the user-side energy storage project will be more considerable. When the average price difference between charging and discharging reaches 0.8 yuan/kWh, the energy storage yield can be guaranteed to be 6.67%, and the investment payback period can be shortened to 7 years.
At the same time, after the user-side energy storage project is put into operation and connected to the grid, it can add 10 MW of adjustable load to the Jinhua power grid, help the power grid to cut peaks and adjust valleys, and play an active role in the demand-side response of the power grid, marking the further construction of Jinhua new power system.
To promote the smooth implementation of the user's energy storage project, State Grid Jinhua Power Supply Company played the "electric staff," strengthened communication with enterprises, and advocated enterprises to practice the "double carbon" goal. At the same time, according to the long-term development of enterprises, green and scientific suggestions on electricity consumption are put forward. We will implement the service guarantee mechanism for tracking and contacting the electricity consumption of energy storage projects, tailor the power supply scheme for enterprises, achieve "service quality improvement" through multi-department linkage, complete the commissioning of energy storage projects on the user side, and inject electric power into enterprises to generate income and increase efficiency.
