On July 26th, EVE Energy held its 3rd Lithium Battery Industry Study Event in Jingmen, Hubei Province, under the theme "Innovation with Integrity, Internet of Everything." The event gathered over 60 senior representatives from various industries, including smart metering, smart security, healthcare, automotive electronics, resource monitoring, and smart living. Key EVE Energy leaders, including CEO Liu Jianhua, Vice President He Yingshen, General Manager of the Lithium Battery Sales Centre Yi Jiehui, and Director of the Lithium Battery Research Institute Cao Lang, were in attendance.
This marks the first time the event was held in Jingmen, a city that is quickly becoming an international energy hub thanks to a collaborative effort between EVE Energy and local governments. Together, they are working to create a "lithium town" that integrates enterprise production, scientific research, life services, and cultural activities.
Before the event officially kicked off, attendees toured EVE Energy’s showroom, gaining insights into the company’s comprehensive lithium battery solutions. The advanced manufacturing technology and robust R&D capabilities on display received high praise from visitors.
Participants also had the opportunity to visit EVE Energy's production lines, including the lithium manganese cylindrical cell line and the cylindrical NCM cell line. These lines are part of the 13th Factory, which is designed with a "10 years ahead, lead for 10 years" philosophy. The facility focuses on fully automated production processes and follows the "Ultimate Manufacturing" management concept, aiming to become a world-class production base for cylindrical batteries. Visitors also toured the LF280K battery factory, a 20GWh prismatic LFP battery project primarily used in utility energy storage.
In his opening speech, CEO Liu Jianhua emphasized Jingmen's importance, noting that it is the hometown of EVE Energy's chairman. He credited Jingmen's favorable investment environment for attracting numerous suppliers to the area, contributing to the development of the lithium town. Liu reiterated EVE Energy's commitment to the global stage, aiming to meet the growing demand for lithium batteries and grow alongside its customers.
Throughout the event, other EVE Energy leaders delivered reports on various topics. Yi Jiehui discussed the company's integrated lithium battery solutions, Cao Lang focused on lithium battery safety applications, Zhang Qiwei addressed the new EU Battery Regulation, and Chen Weifen introduced the CREATE Carbon Neutral Initiative. These presentations explored the future of lithium batteries from perspectives of application, safety, and carbon neutrality.
The event also featured a round-table discussion where industry experts, including Hou Xingzhe, former Secretary of the Electric Power Research Institute of State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company, Ren Jinsong, General Manager of Jiangsu Linyang Energy Co., Ltd., and others, exchanged views on EVE Energy’s global strategy, lithium battery technology, and industry trends. Their insights sparked lively discussions among attendees.
EVE Energy remains committed to driving innovation with integrity, continually advancing lithium battery technology. The company is dedicated to building a global network of manufacturing, delivery, and cooperation, empowering the world with cutting-edge battery solutions.
