Cornex Launches First 5MWh Liquid-Cooled Energy Storage System in Xinjiang

Exciting news from Cornex! The first-ever 5MWh liquid-cooled energy storage system in Xinjiang has been successfully connected to the grid. This major milestone was part of the Cornex Mengshi PV Storage project, a 48MW/96MWh liquid-cooled energy storage power station in Karamay, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

For this groundbreaking project, Cornex supplied 20 self-developed and manufactured 5MWh prefabricated battery cabins, known as the CORNEX M5. Each cabin is a powerhouse, integrating a battery management system, cooling system, fire protection, and more. These units are designed for photovoltaic power generation in the harsh Taklama area of Xinjiang, capable of operating safely in temperatures ranging from -30℃ to 60℃. Their robust environmental adaptability ensures stable and reliable performance.

Once fully operational, the project will significantly enhance renewable energy usage, balance peak and off-peak electricity demands, and boost local energy efficiency. Cornex has earned high praise from industry experts for its commitment to safety, efficiency, reliability, and smart operation.

Looking ahead, Cornex remains dedicated to innovation and technological breakthroughs, striving to offer top-tier integrated solutions and services to customers worldwide. The company is deeply committed to green development, supporting the strategic goals of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality," and driving the transformation of the national energy structure.
