With an energy density of 300 Wh/kg, Tianneng new Panshi series solid-state battery has officially been unveiled
Energy Density of 300 Wh/kg for the "Panshi" Series Solid-State Battery
Recently, Tianneng's "Panshi" series solid-state battery made its debut at the 2024 Zhejiang Expo. This battery, with an energy density of 300 Wh/kg, is independently developed by Tianneng and designed for high-performance electric motorcycles.
The "Panshi" series features a 48V 40Ah model, offering a full-speed range of ≥130 km. It supports 1,500 cycles at room temperature and 800 cycles at high temperatures, and can be charged to 80% in just 20 minutes.
Energy Density of 511 Wh/kg Solid-State Battery
Previously, Tianneng announced that it was tackling five key technologies related to positive and negative electrode materials. In 2023, they revealed that their independently developed 511 Wh/kg solid-state battery successfully passed certification from the National Testing Center.
According to Tianneng's R&D team, this battery utilizes their self-developed electrolyte with a three-dimensional interpenetrating network and interface-free solidification technology, addressing the major interface challenges that have hindered solid-state battery commercialization. It features ultra-high capacity composite positive electrode materials and various types of composite negative electrode materials, achieving high energy density. The integration of advanced solid-state battery technologies ensures stable cycling and maintains safety advantages while providing high energy density. This type of solid-state battery is expected to have wide applications in military, drones, telecommunications, consumer electronics, and high-end passenger vehicles, with single-charge ranges potentially reaching 1,400 kilometers.
