World First! Shenxing Supercharged Battery won the AUTOBEST Best Technology Award!
On 15 December, the organising committee of AUTOBEST, a renowned independent automotive jury in Europe, announced the list of annual awards in the global automotive industry. After rigorous evaluation by professional judges from 31 countries, Shenhang super-charged batteries stood out as the first product in the global power battery industry to win the AUTOBEST TECHNOBEST Award, and CATL also became the first and only Chinese enterprise to win the Best Technology Award.
The awards selected by AUTOBEST represent the wind vane of the European automotive market and will influence the choices of 750 million European consumers. The Best Technology Award, a highly credible award under AUTOBEST, is not given annually and was last awarded in 2020. The award also has a strict selection process, which must meet 13 complex criteria, and the award will have a great significance in guiding European consumers' car purchasing behaviour.
The organising committee highly affirmed the disruptive innovation of the Shenxing supercharging battery: "As the world's first battery to realise 4C supercharging on lithium iron phosphate, the Shenxing supercharging battery has a range of 400km in 10 minutes of charging, and can travel more than 700km on a single full charge, which is expected to significantly alleviate the anxiety of users about rapid replenishment and open up the era of supercharging for new energy vehicles. "CATL has developed a series of new technologies around the essence of electrochemistry, including materials and material systems, systems, and systems.
