From July 3rd to 7th, EUROBIKE 2024 took place at Frankfurt Messe, Germany. EVE showcased its impressive LEV full-scenario solutions at this event.
Dylan Li, Technical Manager at EVE’s Cylindrical Battery Research Institute, delivered a keynote speech titled "Life as a Best Ride." Focusing on the European E2W market, he detailed the "Cell + Pack" one-stop solution, highlighting the immense potential of high-performance lithium batteries and smart living. His presentation received high praise from the audience.
Dylan emphasized that with 23 years of advancements in lithium battery safety and innovation, EVE offers a comprehensive "cell to battery pack" solution to the global e-bike market. This solution combines high safety, high capacity, long cycle life, and wide temperature applications, suitable for various riding scenarios such as family travel, high-speed off-roading, urban commuting, freight transportation, express delivery, and outdoor activities. The 18650 high-capacity series includes models with capacities of 2550mAh, 2850mAh, 3200mAh, and 3500mAh, each offering increased energy density. The 21700 battery series includes a 5000mAh model.
At the exhibition, EVE launched the new 21700 58E battery, marking a significant breakthrough in capacity. This battery features high nickel materials and high-capacity, high-pressure graphite doped silicon-based materials for the negative electrode, achieving an energy density of up to 290Wh/kg and a capacity of 5,700mAh. This advancement addresses the needs for lightweight, long-range electric bicycles, ensuring "no fear of mileage anxiety in long-distance travel and no long waits for charging." The battery also supports wide temperature discharge from -20℃ to +70℃, and it comes with multiple safety and quality certificates, ensuring high safety and reliability in various harsh environments.
EVE’s LEV product ecosystem addresses users' concerns about safety, range, fast charging, and intelligence, driving the upgrade of technical solutions. The exhibition also featured EVE's "Ultimate Safety" LinJu series battery packs and "Ultra Long Range" 46 series battery packs, which attracted significant attention from customers.
As a leading global lithium battery company, EVE has supplied over 2.2 billion cylindrical cells worldwide. In 2023, it ranked in the Top 4 globally and first in the domestic market for cylindrical cell shipments, earning widespread recognition from users and the market. EVE is expanding its global presence with the strategy of "Global Manufacturing, Global Delivery, and Global Cooperation." EVE has established cylindrical cell production bases in Huizhou (Guangdong Province), Jingmen (Hubei Province), Ningbo (Zhejiang Province), and Malaysia, ensuring sufficient production capacity to meet global market demands efficiently.
The construction of EVE's Malaysian plant is progressing well, with the main building nearly complete. The plant has obtained a manufacturing license for cylindrical lithium-ion batteries and is expected to commence production by the end of this year. Moving forward, the Malaysia plant will leverage technological innovation and advanced manufacturing advantages to accelerate global expansion.
Committed to sustainable development, EVE actively supports the global "dual-carbon" goal with its CREATE Carbon Neutral Action Plan. This initiative aims to create greener, more energy-efficient products and LEV battery solutions, with a promise to achieve carbon neutrality in operations by 2030 and across the core value chain by 2040. EVE is dedicated to promoting green and low-carbon transformation in global transportation and energy, empowering the world with EVE Energy.
