Recently, Envision Energy's "AC-DC Integrated" 5.0/5.6MWh energy storage system series officially rolled off the production line at its Jiangyin factory. The "AC-DC Integrated" series includes two models, 5MWh and 5.6MWh, both housed in standard 20-foot containers, with the 5.6MWh model being the world's largest capacity "AC-DC Integrated" energy storage system. With the roll-out of the 5.0/5.6MWh energy storage systems, Envision Energy's "AC-DC Integrated" series products are now officially capable of mass delivery.
The Envision "AC-DC Integrated" 5.6MWh energy storage system is equipped with Envision Power's 350Ah energy storage-specific cells, offering a cycle life of 15,000 cycles, 3 years of zero degradation, and a round-trip efficiency (RTE) of 96%. Compared to the industry-standard 314/315Ah cells, this system increases energy density to 435Wh/L, while the 20-foot container capacity has been boosted to 5.6MWh.
Unlike the industry's mainstream AC-DC split design solutions, the Envision "AC-DC Integrated" 5.6MWh energy storage system uses an integrated AC-DC design, featuring one cluster management system that eliminates inter-cluster circulation, improving lifetime discharge by over 8%. Its dual liquid cooling system is highly integrated, supporting shoulder-to-shoulder and back-to-back installations, reducing the occupied area by 50%. The "AC-DC Integrated" structure also ensures that the DC cables remain inside the cabinet. With pre-installation and pre-commissioning at the factory, installation and debugging time are greatly reduced. According to estimates, the Envision "AC-DC Integrated" 5.6MWh energy storage system reduces the cost per kilowatt-hour by approximately 45% compared to mainstream products on the market.
Based on the mature 315Ah energy storage-specific cell production line, the Envision "AC-DC Integrated" 5MWh energy storage system also began mass production on the same day, offering high lifetime discharge, easy installation and maintenance, and low kilowatt-hour costs. This further enriches Envision Energy's product lineup and provides customers with more choices.
Envision Energy possesses full-stack technological capabilities, ranging from battery cells, PCS, EMS, BMS to SCADA systems, all of which are self-researched and manufactured.
