CEC Xinjiang signed a cooperation agreement for the development of 5 million kilowatts of new energy storage project
Recently, CECC New Energy Group and the People's Government of Fukang City, Xinjiang, signed a cooperation agreement to develop 5 million kilowatts of new energy projects.
The signing of this project is an essential measure for CECC New Energy Group and Xinjiang Fukang Municipal People's Government to actively implement the "Double Carbon" strategic decision, implement the "14th Five-Year Plan" development goals of both sides and drive the development of local environmental protection and new energy business, realizing in-depth cooperation between government and enterprises. The project is located in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
The project is located in Fukang City, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, which is rich in natural resources. Among the 5 million kilowatts invested and constructed by DIC New Energy Group, the first batch of 600,000 kilowatts of photovoltaic + 600,000 kilowatts of energy storage project in Fukang City will be built. After the completion of the first batch of projects, the annual feed-in power is expected to reach 1.163 billion kWh, which can save the country about 469 million tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 1.158 billion tons per year, which has a positive role in promoting energy conservation and emission reduction, environmental protection and sustainable economic development of the local area.
In Xinjiang Province, DEC has completed ten projects, including Wang Yang Tai Dong Wind Farm, Beitashan Wind Farm, Yamansu Photovoltaic Power Station, and Ronghe Distribution Grid Project, with an installed capacity of 526,000 kilowatts, and DEC has established good cooperative relations with various local governments in Xinjiang. The project has launched the "China Power Construction" brand and has been generally praised by all aspects of society.
