CATL and France CMA CGM Shipping Group Signed a Cooperation Agreement

At the important moment of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, Zeng Yuqun, chairman and CEO of CATL New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was invited to attend the closing ceremony of the sixth meeting of the China-France Business Council

On May 7, local time, CATL signed a cooperation agreement with the French CMA CGM Shipping Group. According to the agreement, the two sides will give full play to the advantages of their respective fields and focus on building comprehensive and complete greenhouse gas emission reduction solutions. The two sides will jointly explore potential cooperation opportunities in research and development, and plan to establish joint ventures to meet the growing demand for environmental protection and support energy transformation and industrial upgrading. In addition, the two sides will also focus on the planning and implementation of the carbon neutral target path, carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of electric ships, commercial vehicles, warehousing and logistics, and renewable energy, and jointly promote the "dual transformation" of digitalization and green and low-carbon.
