CATL And GACAION Power Change Project Cooperation Framework Agreement

On May 16, GACAION, CATL, and Times Electric Service(CATL) signed a cooperation framework agreement on power replacement projects. Zeng Qinghong, Chairman of GAC Group, Gu Huinan, general manager of GACAION, Zeng Yuqun, Chairman and CEO of CATL, and Han Wei, co-president of CATL Market System, attended the signing ceremony. Gac Eian Procurement Minister Huang Richang, Ningde Times domestic passenger car executive president Luo Huiping, and Time Electric Service (CATL) general manager Yang Jun signed on behalf of the three parties.

According to the agreement, the three parties will give full play to GACAION's mainstream market and brand advantages, CATL leading power battery technology and industrial resource advantages, Time power Service's(CATL) equipment development, operation management, and software platform development advantages in the field of new energy vehicle power change, power change model development, power change block development, production and circulation, vehicle and battery data management. Carry out in-depth cooperation in the areas of vehicle quality assurance after-sales service, jointly promote the sales of GAC Aean electric replacement models, and bring users a more efficient and convenient electric replacement and energy replenishment experience.

GACAION, as the most important carrier of GAC Group's new energy business, is the fastest car brand in the world with sales exceeding one million and has a deep layout foundation in the field of charging and replacing. Ayan brand has 7084 DC supercharged piles (according to the latest statistics of China Charging Alliance in 2023), and has so far built 1,300 stations of 1000V high voltage supercharging stations.

With the signing of this agreement, CATL chocolate power exchange "circle of friends" has also expanded again. Since entering the power exchange market in 2020, CATL has launched chocolate power exchange blocks and power exchange service solutions and actively promotes the ecological construction of power exchange. On the one hand, it has launched all-round cooperation with local governments such as Xiamen and Shenzhen in the field of new energy power exchange. On the other hand, we actively cooperate with upstream and downstream partners of the power exchange industry chain such as car companies, travel platforms, and energy state-owned enterprises around the construction of power exchange networks in different travel scenarios and the research and development of long-life battery technology.
