Empowering Poland | BYD Energy Storage and Greenvolt Power Successfully Sign 1.6GWh Energy Storage Project
Recently, BYD Energy Storage and Greenvolt Power signed a cooperation agreement to jointly develop a landmark Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Poland, with a total capacity of up to 1.6GWh. This collaboration marks another successful deployment of BYD Energy Storage's technology in the international market and sets a new benchmark for the global energy storage industry.
The cooperation between the two parties covers the design and operation of two energy storage assets, with a total capacity of 400MW/1.6GWh. The project has officially commenced construction and is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2026.
